Some of the things I'm looking forward to is applying voice commands to my team AI using my headset. I applied a ghost recon third person mod so the gameplay feels more like Ghost Recon now.Įngaging hostiles in long range fights is something I'm getting used to and its a lot of tactical fun.Īnd there are features that I appreciate like leaning, weapon sway (will probably remove soon), inventory depending on type of bag and tactical vest. Its great going from first person to third person. I'm playing the campaign and it feels incredible to have a campaign that actually feels like a military game for starters. After playing Arma 3 for just only 15hrs, I don't understand why more Ghost fans don't play the game. Some said they enjoyed the futuristic themes of the game, others said they enjoyed the tactical squad base gameplay. I dont wanna turn Arma3 into CoD, but I seriously hate the gun physics here.I finally played Arma 3 after getting a gaming laptop, and its been interesting to compare it to Breakpoint.įirst of, I was asking a few on here that if they had so many issues with the game why don't they play Arma 3 instead. Right now I just want some sound and gameplay improvement mods. Im open to any mods but I have no idea what ones are good and what one to stay away from. I try to filter for Sounds for example, but I get nothing but mission mods. I tried looking into some mods on the Workshop but that too is a mess. This doesnt feel realistic, it feels like work. Also the constant swaying is simply too much to deal with. Every weapon thus far has no oomph, and the default rifle you get sounds more like a nail gun or something. For one the sounds in this game are downright awful. I rage quit several times because it doesnt make sense to me at all, and figuring out what to remap to make it easier is futile. I dont use WASD so I remapped some controls to fit what I normally use, but some functions just dont fucking work. I cant get Combat Pace working whatsoever so I dont bother with it. Some of these controls I feel are unnecessarily complex for no reason.
Got Arma3 during the last sale and Im finally getting around to it.
